REVIEW on KERATHERAPHY: Keratin Smooth Silk Treatment By David's for Rever

My New Haircut : Day 2 after Keratin Treatment -Hair dried using Fan only

My Keratheraphy Journey ^_^

Originally my hair is wavy soft with thin strands. Rebonding is not an option as it will make my hair super flat so I had it straightened using Brazilian blow-out treatment last August 2013. After that my hair just had regular trims, hair spa and hot oil treatments...however.. since I also like to experiment with hair color I noticed my hair went super dry....and one day I decided to cut it and have it styled in a parlor near our home..at first I thought he would just do a regular trim but then the stylist cut the back of my hair super short making the layers too far apart from one another..It looks manageable when blow dried but in the morning when I took a shower and have it dry over the fan..my hair looks really terrible at the back...literally the cut at the back was unimaginable..not a pretty sight.

I don't really want to cut my hair as I want it to be more longer..but it looks so dull and dry ...plus I had a bad trim which make it more look unhealthy...(sorry I had no pics to share how it looks..just imagine a dismantled chicken feathers...^_^

So I decided to go to Davids for Rever Salon SM Makati Branch . This Branch is a little pricey than the other Davids Salon Branches which I already tried before. the Salon was cozy and the receptionist was friendly... I checked the price for haircuts and I chose the stylist who is in a middle range price because I just want to fix my bad haircut. So I said I'm gonna try Alex and his cuts costs P300.

At the moment I sit on the chair and he inspected what happened with my hair..he said the layers was way off and the only thing he can do now is to chop my long hair into a shoulder length cut..he can not do the "Taylor Swift Bob" which is in a rave right now because my hair was cut unevenly....I have no idea what my hair will look but I just completely put my trust in him and said okay...just make it look decent and clean....he also advised me to have it treated with their keratin treatment..and it costs P4800 for my hair..and that's already a PROMO which included a Shampoo and Conditioner that I will use for 3-4 months. He said my hair will not be super flat like Rebonded Hair it will still have waves but it will look sleek and shiny....I said okay lets try it..I was hesitant because its a little expensive but..then it will last long and..Christmas and New Years is coming..I don't wanna get caught in that ugly haircut and I wanna look good in pictures for the Holiday Season.

Here is my Review for the Keratin Soft Silk Treatment:

Keratheraphy : Infuses the hair with Keratin which makes it more soft, silky and it lessen frizz. It is milder than Rebonding and others say it is more safer to use

PRO's:

  • Smells Good
  • Its doesn't sting in your scalp
  • Application Process only took an hour. Went in the Salon at 3:00pm finished by 4:30pm including haircut)
---the keratin treatment was left on my hair for 30 mins then my hair was ironed and then blow            dried
*** Of course I had my hair cut first before they applied the treatment

  • Hair was shiny
  • Hair became soft and Silky
  • No need for ironing or constant brushing of hair
  • Hair becomes manageable..it falls into place even without a blow dry

CON's:
  • It stings the eyes upon application so you need to close your eyes to avoid irritation.
  • Its a bit pricey..the regular price for short hair is P5,000 if its not in PROMO plus there is no shampoo and conditioner you have to buy this separately.
  • You need to wash your hair after 72 hours.. but I wash mine on day 2  I just left it for 1 day since my hair was getting so oily.

All in all I will give this treatment from Davids a thumbs up!

Blog Daily Entry #1 : Learning How to Speak Deutsch

H-A-L-L-O----H-E-L-L-O in German...Ich bin Missy L--I am Missy L....

This is my daily Bog. I'll be writing about my life, my moods, my daily experiences , my opinions and everything under the sun..and I hope that if ever someone gets to read this..they will learn something or I could at least put a smile on their faces :)

I am a "Schulerin" thats a german word that means I am a student and I am enrolled and learning something,.. which is for now  basic German language.

I am actually almost half done with school and I now can understand  a little and can speak the basics of language .

Getting to where I am now was tough..in the beginning I was confused and utterly asking..why and what the hell these Germans have to classify each person, thing, place to masculine, feminine, neutral...its kinda weird because in English we only categorize Person as to He or She, and  Animals or Things  we commonly pertain to 'IT'.

DER-DIE-DAS....This is what they call German Noun Gender..one of the many German Articles all students who wants to learn German needs to memorize ...

To fully understand this Ill give you some examples:

1. In English we call the thing we sit in as a Chair.... But in German..to them Chair is to be classified as a masculine gender so it is called DER Stuhl.... or The Chair.

2. In English we just say Man, Woman, and Child... In German they have to say Der Mann-The Man , Die Frau-The woman and the child-- this is classified as Neutral so it is said as Das Kind.

Its tough right...(hihihi!)  and to them Apple the fruit is masculine and neutral at the same time" der/das Apfel"...

I learned on my few weeks at school there is no shortcuts in learning German...I have to memorize each nouns and classify them to their Der-Die -Das...Because its the foundation on how I can build sentences..thus..slowly learn the language.

....However its not so hard and dragging ...meeting new friends and attending school everyday is full of Fun too^_^ ...our teachers see to it that we have activities so we wouldn't get bored learning....

My Journey to learning Deutsch is still a long way...But for now..Im letting myself enjoy every moment of it...<3
